The Smartabase Help Center provides you with multiple ways to get the support you need quickly and easily. The Help Center includes the following self-service features:
- Knowledge base: our expansive and searchable knowledge base gives you a self-service option to quickly find answers to common questions. The knowledge base provides a wealth of online resources to help you get the most out of your Smartabase site.
- Answer bot: you can use the chat bot to access helpful resources quickly. Typing a question into the chat window returns relevant resources from the knowledge base or gives you the option to chat live with available help desk support staff.
- Submit a request: if you can't find an answer to your query using the knowledge base or answer bot, you can submit a request to our help desk. The help desk is staffed by a dedicated team of support staff Monday through Friday. The team works closely with our Smartabase consultants to provide enhanced support for your specific Smartabase site. You can track the status of your request following the steps below.
- Help Center change log: to stay informed on updates made to the knowledge base you can view our change log. The change log includes publication of release notes and new articles as well as updates to existing articles.
- Subscribe to new content: you can subscribe to release notes and articles in the knowledge base to stay up to date with the latest content.
Steps to create a Help Center account
To follow support requests or be notified of the latest Smartabase release notes you need a Smartabase Help Center account. Follow these steps to create an account:
- From the Smartabase Help Center, select Login in the top toolbar.
- In the pop-up window, select the Sign up link under the password reset option.
- Follow the prompts to set up an account.
Submit a request
To get in touch with one of our support staff, select Submit a request in the top toolbar.
Here you have the option to submit a help request, chat with one of our support staff via the chat function, or speak to one of our support staff over the phone.
Steps to view your activities
To see the progress of your support requests in one location, follow these steps:
- From the Smartabase Help Center, select Login in the top toolbar.
- Enter your login credentials into the pop-up window and click Sign in.
- Select your account name in the top-right corner of the page, then select My activities to see a list of all your requests.
- Click on a request to navigate to the support ticket to see more details.
- Select Following at the top of the page to manage your Help Center subscriptions.
Steps to subscribe to the Help Center
After creating an account in the Smartabase Help Center, you can choose to be notified when new articles are added by following an article or section. For more information, check out our article on how to subscribe to new content in the Help Center.
