Order your trellis widgets
It is now possible to customize the order that multiples (i.e. versions of a widget that has been multiplied based on a field within an event form) are displayed within a trellised widget. Trellised widgets can be ordered by value, date of first or last occurrence, or a custom order defined in the Dashboard builder. This means that the data can be sorted based on the context of the dashboard.
View your dashboards quickly with progressive loading
We’ve been working hard to improve the dashboard user experience. The most recent Dashboard builder release included smarter loading processes, with widgets initially visible on the screen being prioritized for loading. This release extends on that, with datasets now being loaded progressively. Previously, dashboards loaded all their data sources at once, regardless of where the data was used in the dashboard. Progressive loading of data sources means that you can view and use widgets on the first canvas of the dashboard while other data sources continue to load in the background.
View and build dashboards in Japanese
Japanese has now been added to the list of languages that you can use to build and view your dashboards. As a builder, elements of the Dashboard builder interface will be translated, as well as any form and field names that have been translated via a translation file. As a coach or athlete, you’ll also be able to interact with your dashboards in Japanese when viewing them from your browser, the Smartabase Athlete app or the Smartabase mobile application. To view and build dashboards in Japanese, set your account language to Japanese.
The dashboard builder also supports simplified Chinese, Dutch, French and Spanish.
General improvements and bug fixes
- We’ve resolved an issue where avatars on tiles were not representative of aggregated data.
- We’ve removed the pop-up message displayed when deleting components in the Dashboard builder. This is no longer required now that you can undo and redo changes to the dashboard.
- We’ve added translation support for options within option fields. Previously, only field and form name translations were supported in the Dashboard builder.
